We get it—sometimes the fit or vibe just isn’t quite right, and that’s okay. At My Velveteen Habit, we want you to love your flow, and if your new piece doesn’t align, we’re here to help.
Returns & Exchanges
- We accept returns of unworn, unwashed items with original tags within 30 days of delivery.
- Items must be in their original condition—free of stains, scents, or signs of wear.
- Final sale items, gift cards, and custom pieces cannot be returned or exchanged.
- We currently accept returns and exchanges for U.S. orders only
Refunds
- Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email.
- Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Please note: shipping costs are non-refundable.
Shipping Your Return
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- If you’re exchanging an item for a new size or style, we’ll cover the shipping on the replacement back to you.
How to Start a Return
- Email us at hello@myvelveteenhabit.com with your order number and the item(s) you’d like to return or exchange.
- We’ll reply with simple return instructions.
- Pack your item securely and ship it back using the provided details.
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund or send out your exchange.

Each style is designed to hug, stretch, and move with you—but finding your perfect fit helps us reduce returns and stay gentle on Mother Earth.
